After a Bachelor’s in Psychology and Cognitive Science in Italy, I have landed in Paris to pursue my studies in the cog-SUP Master, held between Sorbonne Université and Université Paris Cité. This Master’s in Cognitive Neuroscience is an important step towards my research goals in the domains of Language, Cognition and Identity.

During my M1 intership at the BabyLab, I am supervised by Pia Rämä. The research project pursued enables the observation and the study of the effects of sound symbolism in 6 month-old infants. Our study aims at understanding what role the association between sounds and shapes can play in early learning by inquiring its function as a perceptive cue. I will be using the EEG equipment to derive and analyze the ERP signals of interest.

I am thrilled to work in the BabyLab and to inquire about the complexities of language from its early stages!
