Laure-Sophie Leroux Manoury
Master 2 intern
After obtaining my Master’s degree to become a speech therapist in june 2025, I decided to continue
my studies by integrating a second Master’s in Health Research and Rehabilitation at Sorbonne
University.
Last year, I completed my Master’s thesis under the supervision of Laurianne Cabrera, which
focused on the development of speech perception in noise through the normalization of a perceptual
test. Now, my research work for this second Master’s thesis aims to explore the interaction between
frequency modulation detection and speech perception in noise in children and adults.
This Master 2 in Health Research enables me to focus more specifically on research in the fields of
language, cognition, and psychoacoustics. I am therefore really grateful to join the Babylab as an
intern to explore these different research topics within the framework of my studies.
