My name is Perside Ngani, and I am a PhD student in cognitive science at Sorbonne University, supervised by Malika Auvray and Sylvie Chokron. At the Babylab, I am leading an experiment with children aimed at better understanding the cognitive mechanisms involved in perspective-taking, that is, our ability to adopt another person’s point of view.

These skills are assessed through the children’s interpretation of everyday social situations and their ability to adopt different points of view, particularly in relation to space.
