Mays-Léa Ahmad

My name is Mays-Léa Ahmad. I am a first-year student in the Biomedical Engineering Master’s program (BME Paris) between Université Paris Cité and Arts et Métiers. I am currently doing my internship under the supervision of Laurianne Cabrera as part of the Global Speech project, which investigates the general auditory mechanisms involved in the early development of speech perception, using both behavioral and neurophysiological tools with infants, and the ManyBabies5 project, which is an international collaborative research initiative investigating the factors underlying infants’ visual preferences, particularly the shift from familiarity to novelty preference in looking-time paradigms.
