Voice familiarity contributes to word understanding in infants, specifically when a person they know, such as their mother presents words. This project aims to investigate whether familiarity with the speaker’s voice facilitates lexical-semantic processing in infants. Our aim is also to assess whether language-familiarity in bilingual infants (amount of language input in each language) affects speaker identification during early development.
