In my first year of a Master’s degree in Speech Therapy at Sorbonne University, I am working alongside Marie Chatain on a dissertation supervised by Thierry Nazzi on the effects of different stages of prematurity on children aged 3 to 7 in kindergarten.

This study seeks to standardize an American tool for screening oral language in children and follows up on a speech therapy dissertation published last year. Our hypothesis is that in three areas tested (vocabulary, syntax, and new word acquisition), performances decrease as the level of prematurity increases compared to the general
population of children, and that these effects evolve with age.

We will be available to meet with you at the Babylab from March 2026 to March 2027, mainly on Saturdays, and on weekdays depending on availability.
