Marie Chatain

Master 1 student

My name is Marie Chatain and I am currently studying for a Master’s degree in Speech Therapy at Sorbonne University’s Faculty of Health. Together with my co-worker Marie Monjou, we are doing an internship at the Babylab as part of our final dissertation, supervised by Thierry Nazzi.

Our research aims to study the effects of premature birth (before 37 weeks of amenorrhea) on the development of receptive oral language in kindergarten. In order to do this, we are using TICOALA software to assess vocabulary, syntax and new word acquisition skills in children aged 3 to 7.
